Create Your Own Cryptid In-Person
Children who have completed 3rd-5th grade are invited to tap into their imaginations and create their very own cryptids in this writing and collage workshop led by Robin Gow, local YA and middle-grade author. What is a cryptid? A cryptid is a creature that is found in stories and that some people believe exists or say they have seen, but that has never been proven to exist. Think Mothman or Sasquatch!
Robin Gow is an award-winning poet, author and community educator. He is also the author of poetry collections as well as young-adult and middle-grade novels including Dear Mothman and A Million Quiet Revolutions, earning starred reviews from Publisher's Weekly, Kirkus, School Library Journal, and more. They are also the Director of the Education Institute at Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center.
