Reading Buddies In-Person
Reading Buddies is perfect for new and practicing readers!
During each Reading Buddies session, young readers will be partnered with a teen volunteer.
Together, buddies will choose books, find a cozy spot, and take turns reading aloud. This program is for new, aspiring readers as well as kids looking to practice their reading skills.
Participants will meet in the community room to be partnered with a high school student volunteer. Ms. Eileen or Ms. Rachel will be on hand to assist.
Recommended for children who have completed Kindergarten, First, or Second Grade.
A parent/adult for each child must remain in the library during this program.
This program lasts for five Thursdays, 6/19, 6/26, 7/10, 7/17 and 7/24.
Space is limited. The number of available spaces is dependent on how many volunteers we have in the program.
