About Mr. David:
With his propeller hat and star-studded guitar, artist/musician/comedian Mr. David C. Perry has been entertaining children and families full-time for more than 30 years. David has performed at hundreds of schools, camps, special events and, of course, libraries. In 2002, he was selected by the Pennsylvania Library Association as the official artist for their statewide Summer Reading program and he has been creating appropriately themed library shows every year since. He is a former artist-in-residence at the Please Touch Museum, has appeared multiple times at the Philadelphia Folk Festival, has sung his songs live on WXPN’s popular Kids Corner radio program and received national airplay on the Dr. Demento Show. He currently serves as Co-coordinator of the Children’s Music Network Mid-Atlantic Region.
In addition to concert performances, David also does leads cartooning workshops (for older kids) and draws caricatures for all ages. Find out more at www.mrdavid.com.
