Mindfulness & meditation

Mindfulness & meditation In-Person

At the height of the holiday hustle and bustle it can be easy to overlook our need to find moments of presence, contentment and ease.

Mindfulness meditation is a practice of training your attention to connect more fully with the present moment. This simple practice unlocks a wealth of benefits, including reduced stress, improved mood, better sleep, and feeling more connected to ourselves and others!

In this class you’ll learn what mindfulness is, how it works, and explore 2 mindfulness meditation practices - one of which can help you shift from stress to rest in just minutes. Whether you are brand new to mindfulness or have been practicing for years, this class will have something to offer.

This session is presented by Brandon Everett RN, BSN, CMT-900. Brandon learned mindfulness meditation as a means to cope with the anxiety, stress, and burnout that accompanied working as a Registered Nurse in an Intensive Care Unit. Since completing a 2-year, 900-hour Meditation Teacher Training in 2017, he has gone on to share mindfulness with thousands of people - making mindfulness accessible from breakrooms to boardrooms, from kindergarten to graduate school, and in businesses, nonprofits and hospitals across the tristate area.
