STEM Explorers (Gr. 1&2) - Algae String In-Person
In this hands-on, active program, children in grades 1 & 2 will explore the different aspects of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). This program is accessible to a variety of ability levels, with assistance provided so all children can be successful!
This week we will be exploring an alternative to plastic - algae! Or sodium alginate, to be more specific. We will make some super-strong string out of algae and see what we can make with it!
